Argentina Formalizes ARS 70,000 September Pension Bonus as ANSES Confirms 1.9% Increase

Decree 613/2025 orders an automatic, non‑remunerative reinforcement targeted to minimum incomes following the presidential veto of a larger congressional hike.

Overview

  • The bonus was established by Decree 613/2025, signed by Javier Milei, Guillermo Francos and Sandra Pettovello, and entered into force on August 27.
  • September’s pension mobility update is 1.9% under the CPI‑linked rule set by Decree 274/2024, taking the minimum to ARS 320,277.17 and to ARS 390,277.17 with the bonus.
  • ANSES will pay the reinforcement automatically to minimum beneficiaries in full and proportionally above the minimum so the total does not exceed the minimum plus ARS 70,000; it is non‑remunerative and exempt from discounts.
  • The September schedule starts Monday, September 8 for minimum pensions (DNI 0 through 9 from Sept. 8–19) and runs September 22–26 for those above the minimum; PNCs are paid September 8–12.
  • The reinforcement applies to SIPA, PUAM and non‑contributory pensions, counts multi‑coparticipant pensions as a single titular for eligibility, and remains at ARS 70,000 after the veto of a proposed ARS 110,000 increase.
