Argentina Formalizes $70,000 One-Time Pension Bonus for September as ANSES Sets Payment Dates

The one-time payment follows a presidential veto of a larger package, with ANSES depositing it automatically alongside September benefits.

Overview

  • Decree 613/2025, published in the Boletín Oficial and signed by Javier Milei, Guillermo Francos and Sandra Pettovello, establishes an extraordinary pension bonus of up to $70,000 for September.
  • The benefit is paid in full to those at or below the guaranteed minimum and is proportional above that level up to a ceiling of the minimum plus $70,000, with non-remunerative status and no discounts applied.
  • Eligibility covers SIPA retirees with lower incomes, PUAM recipients and non-contributory pensions, and multi-coparticipant pensions are treated as a single titular for the bonus.
  • September benefits rise 1.9% under the CPI-linked mobility rule, lifting the minimum to about $320,277 and to roughly $390,277 when the bonus is included for minimum recipients.
  • ANSES will deposit the bonus with monthly haberes by DNI schedule: PNC and minimum benefits run from September 8–19, and those above the minimum are paid September 22–26.
