Overview
- Voters will receive a single state-issued ballot listing all options and will fold and place it directly in the urn without an envelope.
- Each polling table will provide an indelible black pen labeled "Elecciones Argentinas" so ballot marks cannot be erased.
- If a mistake is made before depositing the ballot, a new one can be requested and the spoiled ballot will be sealed for return to the electoral authorities.
- Districts electing only deputies allow a single mark, while those also electing senators allow two marks that enable split-ticket voting.
- Sanctions include a $5,000 fine for not voting and up to $77,000 for photographing a ballot inside the booth, as set out in the Electoral Code.
