Overview

  • The Ministry of Security published Resolution 983/2025 that implements the Suplemento Único para la Reconstrucción for residents hit by the May 16–17 floods in seven Buenos Aires localities.
  • The program provides a one-time, non-repayable payment of 800,000 pesos per eligible ground-floor household, financed by a dedicated fund of up to 10,000 million pesos created by Decree 497/2025.
  • Applicants must be over 18, be Argentine or foreign with at least two years of legal residence, prove real domicile and effective residence in the listed cities at the time of the event, and show damage to ground-floor housing.
  • Requests are filed exclusively at sur.argentina.gob.ar via a sworn digital form, with supporting data cross-checked against electricity providers, the Central Bank and SINAME before any payment.
  • The Agencia Federal de Emergencias is tasked to control, authorize and approve disbursements and report beneficiaries, while the ministry monitors payments and keeps records for up to three years.
