Overview
- ANDIS announced the one-year extension on Wednesday, June 3, moving CUDs with renewals due between January 1 and December 31, 2025 so their expiry dates fall in 2026.
- The prórroga does not cover certificates that expired in 2022, 2023 or 2024, and holders of those lapsed CUDs must already have completed renewal to keep benefits.
- To renew in 2026 applicants must book a turn with a local Junta Evaluadora, bring updated medical certificates and studies, attend an interdisciplinary evaluation, and await the board’s decision.
- Approved renewals generate an updated digital entry visible on Mi Argentina and a new printed CUD, and the digital CUD is automatically issued for people over 13 with a validated Mi Argentina profile.
- The CUD secures wide health, transport and fiscal rights, so the extension gives eligible holders more time to prepare documentation and may ease pressure on evaluation boards while leaving earlier lapse cases at risk of benefit loss.
