Argentina Creates Human Capital Training Center to Match Skills With Jobs

The measure establishes a public–private training model to address shortages in technical roles.

Overview

  • Resolution 1105/2025, signed by Minister Sandra Pettovello and published Thursday in the Buenos Aires Official Gazette, formally establishes the program.
  • The Unidad de Gabinete de Asesores will coordinate the center as the implementing authority.
  • An Executive Committee of at least three members will serve ad honorem to manage operational activities.
  • Funding will come from the Ministry of Capital Humano’s existing budget, and the coordinating unit is empowered to issue rules and sign agreements with companies, chambers, public bodies and institutions.
  • The initiative targets both traditional trades and emerging fields such as automation, digitalization, renewable energy and industry 4.0, with reported coordination across labor, education, INET and youth services, while training schedules have not yet been announced.
