Argentina Confirms Two Long Weekends Under New Holiday-Transfer Decree

The reform empowers the Cabinet Chief to shift weekend holidays to boost tourism by engineering extended breaks.

  • Provinces and municipalities added September asuetos in parts of Buenos Aires Province (including Monday 29 and local anniversary dates), while Peru set regional non‑laborables for Piura on September 24 and for La Libertad’s Spring Festival, producing a patchwork of local observances.
