• Decree 614/2025, signed by President Javier Milei and Chief of Cabinet Guillermo Francos, allows trasladable national holidays that fall on Saturday or Sunday to move to a nearby Friday or Monday.
• The Día del Respeto a la Diversidad Cultural is moved from Sunday, October 12, to Friday, October 10 as a national holiday, creating a three‑day weekend from October 10 to 12.
• November will feature a four‑day break: a tourism non‑laborable day on Friday, November 21, plus the Día de la Soberanía Nacional moved to Monday, November 24.
• The Jefatura de Gabinete is the authority to apply and finalize transfers, inamovible holidays remain fixed, and tourism days differ from national holidays in pay and employer obligations.
• Provinces and municipalities added September asuetos in parts of Buenos Aires Province (including Monday 29 and local anniversary dates), while Peru set regional non‑laborables for Piura on September 24 and for La Libertad’s Spring Festival, producing a patchwork of local observances.
