Argentina Confirms September Pension Bonus of Up to $70,000 as ANSES Sets Payment Dates

The measure targets low‑income retirees through a non‑remunerative refuerzo set under the CPI‑linked mobility scheme.

Overview

  • The government published Decree 613/2025 in the Boletín Oficial, confirming a one‑time pension bonus of up to $70,000 for September after vetoing a law that would have raised it to $110,000.
  • Eligible groups include SIPA retirees and pensioners, PUAM and non‑contributory pensions, with the full bonus for those at or below the minimum and a proportional amount above that level up to the cap of minimum plus $70,000.
  • The bonus is non‑remunerative, exempt from deductions and not computable for other benefits, and in multi‑coparticipant pensions ANSES treats the benefit as paid per titular.
  • September benefits rise 1.9% under the CPI‑linked mobility rule, setting the minimum at $320,277.17 and bringing the total for minimum recipients to about $390,277 with the bonus.
  • ANSES will pay by DNI from September 8–19 for minimum and PNC beneficiaries and from September 22–26 for those with above‑minimum haberes, and Banco Nación clients gain an extra 5% supermarket reintegro (up to $20,000) via BNA+ MODO starting in September.
