Overview

  • Friday, November 21 is designated a non-working tourism day and Monday, November 24 is the moved National Sovereignty Day holiday, creating a November 21–24 break; Friday is optional for private employers, while Monday carries double pay if worked.
  • Decree 614/2025 permits holidays that fall on weekends to shift to the preceding Friday or following Monday and designates the Cabinet Office (Jefatura de Gabinete) as the implementing authority.
  • Resolution 139/2025 moved the Día del Respeto a la Diversidad Cultural to Friday, October 10, producing a three-day weekend earlier in the month.
  • The remaining nationwide dates in 2025 are Monday, December 8 (Immaculate Conception) and Thursday, December 25 (Christmas), with another extended break from Saturday, December 6 to Monday, December 8.
  • Local holidays were declared for Monday, October 13 in Buenos Aires province localities including San Manuel (Lobería), Garré (Guaminí), Urquiza (Pergamino) and Paraje Villa Roch (Tordillo), applying only within those jurisdictions.
