Argentina Confirms 2.8% February Rise for ANSES Pensions as Payment Dates Set

The CPI-based mobility rule set the 2.8% adjustment using December data.

Overview

  • ANSES published the February calendar: pensions and PNC start February 9 for DNI ending in 0–1, minimum pensions run through February 20, and higher benefits are paid February 23–27 by document number.
  • The minimum pension increases to $359,079.70 in February, while the maximum updates to $2,139,536.
  • Family benefits also rise, with AUH at $129,032.50 and the first SUAF bracket at $64,522.42, and AUH continues to pay 80% monthly with 20% retained pending the annual Libreta.
  • January payments carried a 2.47% increase plus a 70,000‑peso bonus for low-income pensioners, and officials have not yet confirmed whether the bonus will continue in February.
  • The monthly updates are mandated by Decree 274/2024, which indexes ANSES benefits to INDEC’s CPI with a two‑month reference, replacing the former quarterly system.
