Argentina Confirms 1.88% October Pension Increase, Payments Start October 8

ANSES anchored October benefits to the CPI formula, the fixed AR$70,000 top‑up continuing through December.

Overview

  • Resolution 317/2025 formalized a 1.88% monthly mobility update based on INDEC’s August inflation reading.
  • The minimum net pension is AR$326,298.38 and reaches about AR$396,298.38 with the AR$70,000 reinforcement, while the maximum is near AR$2,195,679.22.
  • ANSES published a DNI-based October calendar with minimum beneficiaries paid from Wednesday 8 October, with some dates subject to reprogramming due to the transferred holiday on Friday 10.
  • The AR$70,000 reinforcement is paid in full to minimum earners and proportionally up to the cap for higher haberes, and the 2026 budget keeps its value frozen.
  • AUH and family allowances rise under the same rule (AUH around AR$117,229.14 with 80% paid monthly), and further mobility updates are expected in November and December alongside the December aguinaldo.
