• Authorities and forecasters flag risks of heavy rain, strong thunderstorms and localized hail for CABA, Greater Buenos Aires localities such as La Plata, Quilmes and Avellaneda, and interior cities including Mar del Plata, Tandil and Bahía Blanca.
• Winds are forecast to veer from east to south with sustained 35–50 km/h and gusts near 75 km/h in places, while temperatures drop across AMBA by Sunday as northern regions contend with heat above 30°C and possible highs near 40°C.
