Overview

  • On July 29 the Ministry of Security enacted Resolution 907/2025 banning Carlos Miguel Juárez, Brian Nicolás Ezequiel Otero and Lautaro Ezequiel Pires Gilardi indefinitely from all sporting events nationwide.
  • Authorities identified the three through analysis of photographic and video records circulating in press outlets, social media and other publications.
  • The bans respond to a July 25 knife fight at Estadio José María Minella between rival Plaza Italia and Nuevo Golf barra brava factions that left several people wounded.
  • The measure is part of the Tribuna Segura program, which imposes administrative sanctions to deter football-related violence without resorting to criminal prosecution.
  • Investigations are ongoing as the Direction of Security in Sports Events works to identify and sanction additional participants in the Mar del Plata confrontation.
