Argentina Authorizes Spain’s World2Fly to Operate EuropeArgentina Routes

The approval advances the Cielos Abiertos agenda to expand links with Spain through a planned Madrid–Rosario service once the airport is operational.

Overview

  • Disposición 33/2025, published in the Boletín Oficial by the Subsecretaría de Transporte Aéreo, formally grants World2Fly permission to run regular international passenger and cargo services.
  • The authorization covers routes spanning points in Europe, Spain, intermediate stops, Argentina, and beyond on a return basis under existing bilateral air-service agreements.
  • The measure bears the signature of subsecretario Hernán Adrián Gómez, following a favorable opinion from ANAC’s Dirección Nacional de Transporte Aéreo and review by the permanent legal service under the Aeronautical Code and relevant decrees.
  • Government communications indicate three weekly Madrid–Rosario frequencies are planned, contingent on the Rosario airport becoming operational after runway and infrastructure works.
  • World2Fly, part of the Iberostar group and known for long-haul charter operations with A330-300 and A350-900 aircraft, established a local presence earlier this year to prepare for Argentina service.
