• Decree 629/2025, signed by President Javier Milei and Minister Sandra Pettovello, was published in the Boletín Oficial and is now in force.
• Newsstands and kiosks may operate after registering with Enacom or by contracting with an authorized postal operator that carries legal responsibility to users and the regulator.
• Authorized points can receive and deliver general correspondence and parcels, store e‑commerce purchases, and handle paperwork, credit and debit cards, IDs and passports.
• The measure repeals Decree 1025/00 and dissolves the National Registry of Newspaper and Magazine Vendors and Distributors.
