Overview
- The Transport Secretariat’s Disposición 41/2025, published November 25, authorizes Latam Airlines Brasil to operate regular international passenger and cargo service on the Florianópolis–Buenos Aires route.
- Latam will fly the route daily in January and February between Ezeiza and Florianópolis under its approved peak-season schedule.
- The carrier joins Aerolíneas Argentinas, GOL, Flybondi and JetSmart on the corridor, increasing competition on a highly seasonal market.
- Industry sources report roughly 30% more seats to Florianópolis this summer, with lower prices and January round trips available from about US$320.
- The expansion tracks a 96.8% year-on-year jump in Argentine visitors to Brazil between January and May, and Latam’s Chile unit will begin Neuquén–Santiago on March 29 with four weekly flights.
