Overview

  • The Comisión Nacional de Trabajo en Casas Particulares agreed to a 6.5% minimum wage increase spanning February through September 2025
  • A 3.5% retroactive raise for February–June will be paid with July salaries, followed by 1% increases for each month from July to September
  • One-time non-remunerative bonuses ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 pesos per month will be distributed based on weekly hours worked in July, August and September
  • The adjustment seeks to offset more than 15% cumulative real wage erosion experienced by over 1.2 million domestic workers since late 2024
  • Tripartite representatives from the government, employers and workers will reconvene in October 2025 to assess further wage adjustments
