Overview
- The CNTCP resumed formal negotiations on July 14 after wages for over 1.2 million domestic workers had been frozen since January.
- Workers will receive a cumulative 6.5% wage increase covering February through September 2025, divided into a 3.5% retroactive rise and three 1% monthly boosts.
- A one-time non-remunerative bonus will be disbursed in July (up to ARS 10,000) and ARS 9,500 in both August and September, with amounts scaled according to weekly hours.
- All scheduled wage increases will be remunerative and count toward benefits and social security, except for the lump-sum bonus.
- Government, employer and worker representatives will reconvene in October to evaluate the impact and negotiate further adjustments.
