Argentina Activates October ANSES Payments as Peru Sets Framework for Eighth AFP Withdrawal

Beneficiaries face DNI-based schedules and defined top-ups in Argentina under the CPI rule, with Peru’s framework now in place for withdrawals of up to 4 UIT.

Overview

  • ANSES began disbursing October benefits on October 8 using a staggered calendar by DNI termination that extends through the month.
  • Payments reflect a 1.88% CPI adjustment; the minimum pension is about $326,298 and eligible retirees, PNC and PUAM receive a $70,000 reinforcement, proportional up to a $396,298 cap.
  • AUH is paid with the monthly update plus automatic complements including Tarjeta Alimentar ($52,250–$108,062 by family size) and the 1000 Días milk supplement of roughly $42,711 per child.
  • ANSES enabled digital applications for the Pensión Universal para el Adulto Mayor through Mi ANSES, removing the requirement to apply in person.
  • Peru’s SBS finalized the operational procedure for the Octavo Retiro AFP, allowing up to 4 UIT (S/21,400) in monthly tranches with a DNI-based filing schedule and a free application window from December 4 to January 18.
