- Das Erste will air Tagesschau special editions at 23:50, 01:55, 03:35 and 05:10, plus two 15-minute night bulletins at 02:50 and 04:20 to track the summit’s progress.
- An “ARD-Morgenmagazin extra” will run from 07:00 to 09:50 on Saturday, seamlessly leading into continuous tagesschau24 reporting through 14:00.
- Popular weekend shows including Sturm der Liebe, Rote Rosen, Seehund, Puma & Co., Quarks im Ersten and Die Tierärzte – Retter mit Herz have been postponed to accommodate the live coverage.
- Correspondents Gudrun Engel in Washington, Vassili Golod in Kiev, Silke Diettrich in Moscow and Susanne Petersohn in eastern Ukraine will provide on-site reporting.
- Studio hosts Susan Link and Sven Lorig will moderate discussions with experts Sabine Scholt, Roderich Kiesewetter, Jan van Aken and former ambassador Rüdiger von Fritsch.
