• Das Erste airs three episodes on Tuesday and three on Wednesday, 14–15 October, after an online debut on ARD Mediathek on 10 October.
• Tuesday’s special scheduling preempts In aller Freundschaft and Die Heiland, which return next week, with MDR confirming seasons 29 and 30 of In aller Freundschaft at a reduced episode count.
• The series centers on the aftermath of a catastrophic bus accident, guided by a Bundesverkehrsministerium finding that an average of 113 people are directly or indirectly affected by a single road fatality.
• Its storytelling interweaves two continuous threads following investigators and the bus driver’s relatives with episode-length portraits of individuals touched by the crash, led by a star cast including Lia von Blarer, Robert Stadlober, Anna Schudt and Patricia Aulitzky.
• Produced by Windlight Pictures and Satel Film with WDR, ORF and ARD Degeto, the six-parter is directed by Rick Ostermann from scripts by Arndt Stüwe, with support from regional and federal film funds.
