- Das Erste will air nearly ten hours of Sportschau on both Nov. 22 and 23, replacing much of its usual weekend daytime schedule.
- Saturday’s block runs from 10:25 to 19:57 with live ski jumping from Lillehammer and the men’s slalom, followed by the Lotto draw and regular primetime.
- Sunday’s coverage again features women’s and men’s ski jumping and concludes with the women’s slalom, with broadcasts scheduled from 10:25 to 18:00.
- On Dec. 12 the network plans an all‑day Sportschau from about 09:05 until early evening spanning skeleton, alpine skiing, biathlon, skicross, ski jumping and cross‑country highlights.
- Daytime staples including the ARD-Mittagsmagazin, Rote Rosen, Sturm der Liebe, Brisant and midday quiz repeats will be preempted on the affected dates, with reporters Eik Galley and Jens‑Jörg Rieck guiding the coverage.
