ARD Early-Evening Trial Sees Ratings Highs for ‘Gefragt – gejagt’ and ‘Brisant’ With December Reversion Scheduled

The two-month reshuffle remains a time-limited trial set to revert in mid-December.

Overview

  • On Wednesday, ‘Gefragt – gejagt’ hit 1.81 million viewers and a 15.4% market share on its temporary 17:10 slot, marking new highs since the move.
  • ‘Brisant’ improved on its 16:10 placement to 830,000 viewers and a 9.2% share, including 9.3% among 14–49-year-olds, also setting a new mark.
  • ARD’s test began in mid-October, advancing ‘Gefragt – gejagt’ to 17:10 and shifting ‘Brisant’ to 16:10 to create a double-quiz block.
  • The trial is slated to end with the last ‘Gefragt – gejagt’ on December 11, followed by ‘Brisant’ returning to 17:15 on December 15, with royal documentaries bridging the earlier slot.
  • Early weeks saw ‘Brisant’ average about 660,000 viewers and a 7.0% share, while ‘Gefragt – gejagt’ trailed its usual 18:00 performance but outdrew prior results at 17:10, as ‘Wer weiß denn sowas?’ led the block with 3.12 million and 19.9%.
