Archaeologists Recover Second Mammoth Tusk and Skull Fragments at Suedlink Site

Extensive archaeological work is proceeding without delaying earthworks scheduled for completion by year-end.

Beim Bau der Stromtrasse Suedlink sind in Baden-Württemberg weitere Überreste eines Mammuts gefunden worden. Nachdem Grabungsteams im Mai einen Mammutstoßzahn entdeckten, tauchten nun auch der zweite Stoßzahn und weitere Knochenfragmente auf.
