• Adam Mickiewicz University archaeologists used ground-penetrating surveys and aerial laser scanning to locate five trapezoidal earthen mounds at Wyskoć in reater PPoland Voivodeship
• The fully excavated tomb has confirmed ties to the Funnel Beaker culture and dates back about 5,500 years, with its long axis oriented east–west
• Two of the remaining four underground formations are now undergoing preliminary examination ahead of planned digs
• Officials expect to unearth pottery shards and copper ornaments even though acidic soils likely dissolved any human bones
• Heritage specialists are designing conservation measures to stabilize the site before opening this rare second regional grouping of megalithic monuments to visitors
