ARCA Raises Monotributo Quotas 14.29% for March, Updates Category Ceilings

The semiannual inflation-based recalibration compels independents to reassess their category status before the next recategorization.

Overview

  • Effective March 2026, all monotributo categories increased 14.29%, with published monthly examples such as A at $42,386.74, B at $48,250.78, C at $56,501.85 for services or $55,227.06 for goods, and K at $1,381,687.90 for services or $600,879.51 for goods.
  • ARCA also lifted annual revenue ceilings that define each category, including A up to $10,277,988.13, B up to $15,058,447.71, and C up to $21,113,696.52.
  • The update follows February’s recategorization that moved many taxpayers to higher bands, with the next mandatory recategorization set for August 2026.
  • Banks and digital wallets must now report movements above revised thresholds: monthly balances from $1,500,000, single transfers from $1,000,000, and accumulated monthly spending from $600,000.
  • Specialists urge contributors to review the past 12 months of billing and other parameters to avoid breaching limits that would force migration to the general VAT and Income Tax regime.
