- Depots show up as rectangular structures on the map and only gain an icon at close range, making route planning useful.
- Repairing the rooftop antenna at any depot completes Off The Radar immediately without needing to extract.
- Field Crates spawn near depots, must be carried inside to use, and they slow movement while preventing most actions.
- Delivering a crate unlocks a depot container that pays out ammo, resources, and crafting materials, while the quest awards two Remote Raider Flares on acceptance and a black hiker backpack color on completion.
