Arapahoe County Deputies Seek 4 Suspects in $120,000 Fairgrounds Theft

Overview

• Deputies say the burglary occurred Dec. 23 around 9:56 p.m. at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds at 25690 E. Quincy Ave. in Aurora.
• Four masked suspects entered the maintenance shop and the Arapahoe County Event Center and removed television screens, tools and other equipment.
• The thieves loaded the stolen items into two white county-branded pickup trucks and left the scene.
• The trucks display red Arapahoe County logos and carry Colorado plates AIP-025 and QTL-363; they were last seen near 6th Avenue and Potomac Street in Aurora.
• The sheriff’s office asks anyone with information to call its tipline at 720-874-8477, noting the suspects could face theft, burglary and criminal mischief charges.
