Israeli officials have reported finding an Arabic translation of Adolf Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' in a children's room at a Hamas base in Gaza.
The book was found among the personal belongings of a Hamas operative and showed signs of personal use, including annotations and highlights.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog presented the book during an interview with the BBC, stating that it shows some in Hamas are studying Hitler's anti-Semitic ideology.
The discovery comes amid ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, following a Hamas attack on October 7 that resulted in 1,400 Israeli deaths.
Israeli forces are currently conducting operations in Gaza, which have resulted in civilian deaths and displacement.
