- Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty warned the Middle East is at a “point of implosion,” accused Israel of genocide which Israel denies, and linked Gaza’s war to wider crises in Sudan, Libya, Yemen, and cross-border strikes in Lebanon and Syria.
- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said a two-state solution is the only path to regional security and unveiled a coalition with Norway and the European Union, alongside a France-backed meeting where at least 10 countries recognized Palestine, bringing recognitions near 160.
