APSET 2025 Notification Released as Applications Open Jan. 9 and Exam Set for March 28–29, 2026

Andhra University will conduct the UGC‑aligned online exam, granting lifetime eligibility to those who qualify.

Overview

  • Online registration will be available via apset.net.in and andhrauniversity.edu.in starting January 9, 2026.
  • APSET-2025 will be held in online mode across two papers covering 30 subjects: Paper 1 on teaching and research aptitude and Paper 2 in the candidate’s chosen subject.
  • Eligibility requires a UGC‑recognised master’s degree with at least 55% marks for general candidates and 50% for reserved categories, with no age limit and mark relaxation for PhD holders.
  • The application fee is Rs 1,600 for General, Rs 1,300 for BC/EWS, and Rs 900 for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender, payable online by card or net banking.
  • Detailed instructions on centres, late fees, syllabus and submission procedures will be posted on the official portals, with the syllabus aligned to the UGC-NET framework.
