Overview
- Registrations will be hosted on apset.net.in and andhrauniversity.edu.in, with detailed instructions, syllabus, test centres and late-fee rules to be posted on the official portals.
- The exam will be conducted online and comprises two papers—Paper 1 on teaching and research aptitude and Paper 2 in the candidate’s chosen subject—covering 30 subjects.
- Eligibility requires a UGC-recognised master’s degree with minimum 55% marks for the general category and 50% for reserved categories, with relaxation for PhD holders and no age limit.
- The application fee is Rs 1,600 for General, Rs 1,300 for BC/EWS and Rs 900 for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender, payable online via credit/debit cards or net banking.
- Testing will take place at designated centres across cities in Andhra Pradesh under Andhra University’s administration in line with UGC norms.
