- The official notification sets a compact web-based counselling cycle with registration and fee payment opening Monday, August 24 and closing Monday, August 31, 2026, and seat allotment due on September 7, 2026.
- Candidates must use the AP CFSS portal at cap.apcfss.in to register, pay the processing fee (OC/BC Rs 1,250; SC/ST Rs 650), upload documents and enter web options between August 27 and September 2 with a final change window on September 3.
- Most certificate verification will be handled online through Help Line Centres but special-category applicants (PWD, CAP, NCC, Sports & Games, Scouts & Guides, Anglo‑Indian) must appear for physical verification at Government Polytechnic, Vijayawada on August 31 and September 1, 2026.
