Overview
- Aprilia ruled Martín out of the Feb. 3–5 Sepang pre-season test after operations on his left scaphoid and right clavicle in December.
- Lorenzo Savadori will lead RS-GP26 development, starting with the Jan. 29–31 Sepang shakedown before the official test.
- Martín will travel to Malaysia to work with the team and attend MotoGP’s official launch event in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 7.
- He is aiming to ride at the Buriram test on Feb. 21–22, which would leave only two days of track time before the March 1 season opener at the same venue.
- Aprilia did not disclose the surgeries when Martín appeared at the team’s Milan launch on Jan. 15, following an injury-hit 2025 in which he started seven of 22 rounds.
