April Wine Frontman Myles Goodwyn Dies at 75

The Canadian rock legend, who retired from live performances in 2022, continued to manage the band and write for their new album.

Myles Goodwyn, the frontman of Canadian rock band April Wine, has died at the age of 75.
Goodwyn formed the band in Nova Scotia in 1969, and they found international success in the 1970s and 1980s.
April Wine sold over 10 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
Goodwyn announced his retirement from live performances in 2022 due to health concerns, but continued to manage the band and write for their new album.
Goodwyn is survived by his wife Kim Goodwyn and their two children, plus another child from a previous marriage.
