Overview

  • The series is expected to include four models—iPhone 17, ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max—replacing the previous Plus variant.
  • The rumored iPhone 17 Air is said to measure just 5–6 mm thick, feature a 6.6-inch OLED display and carry a starting price around $899.
  • Pro versions are reported to switch from titanium to aluminum frames, sport a part-glass rear panel with a reshaped camera island, and the Pro Max may add a 48 MP telephoto lens plus vapor chamber cooling.
  • All four models are expected to debut on iOS 26 with Apple’s new Liquid Glass interface.
  • A September 2025 launch is anticipated as Apple lays groundwork for future under-screen Face ID technology and a potential all-screen 20th-anniversary model in 2027.
