Apple's iOS 17.3 update, set to be released next week, introduces a new Stolen Device Protection feature. This security layer requires Face ID or Touch ID authentication for accessing saved passwords and changing sensitive settings, even if the thief has the device's passcode.
The update also includes collaborative Apple Music playlists, allowing multiple users to add, reorder, and remove songs from a shared playlist.
iOS 17.3 will support AirPlay in select hotels, allowing users to stream content from their iPhone to the hotel room TV.
AppleCare & Warranty in Settings will now show coverage statuses for all devices connected to a user's Apple ID.
The update also introduces a new Unity Bloom wallpaper, honoring Black history and culture for Black History Month.
