Landscape or portrait? Both will soon be fine.
If you were waiting for deals to come along on Apple's best tablet, now's the time.

Overview

  • According to Bloomberg’s reporting, Apple will add a second front-facing camera on the portrait edge to complement the landscape-facing sensor and improve Face ID reliability and vertical video calls.
  • The new M5 chip, built on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm N3P process, is expected to deliver faster performance and enhanced power efficiency compared with the current M4 model.
  • Beyond the camera and chipset updates, the 2025 iPad Pro is believed to retain the same OLED display, ultra-thin chassis and overall design introduced last year.
  • Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo forecasts that mass production will begin in the second half of 2025, paving the way for a likely September or October launch.
  • The dual-camera addition reflects Apple’s effort to address user feedback on orientation-based usability without altering the tablet’s established form factor.
