Apple Vision Pro Rumored to Gain AI Features with April Software Update

Reports suggest Apple Intelligence tools like Writing Tools and Genmoji may debut on the mixed-reality headset as part of visionOS 2.4.

The Apple Vision Pro may receive AI-powered features, including Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground, in the visionOS 2.4 update reportedly set for April.
A developer beta of the update could be released as early as this week, according to unnamed sources cited by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
This marks the first time Apple Intelligence features are being expanded beyond iPhone, iPad, and MacBook devices to include the Vision Pro.
The Vision Pro’s M2 chip and 16GB RAM enable on-device AI processing, but the initial rollout reportedly will not include an AI-enhanced Siri due to ongoing development issues.
Additional updates, such as an upgraded guest mode and a new spatial content app for 3D images, are also expected for the Vision Pro.
