- Apple replaced written labels with glyphs on the Tab, Caps Lock, Shift, Return and Delete keys across updated Magic Keyboard listings.
- The refresh covers four SKUs — Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and the Touch ID full-size numeric model in both white and black finishes — and Apple assigned new part numbers to the listings.
- Full-size numeric-keypad models also swap text for symbols on Home, Page Up, Page Down, End, Clear and Enter keys, while the standard U.S. English Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad (without Touch ID) remains unchanged.
- Apple did not announce the change publicly and product pages show the new keycaps without altering prices, so older stock may still be available through some retailers as inventory clears.
- The move mirrors the glyph-only labeling Apple added to its MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and MacBook Neo earlier in the year and brings the standalone keyboards into visual alignment with international layouts that already use symbols.
