Apple Unveils New Mac Studio With M4 Max and M3 Ultra Chips

The updated desktop offers significant performance boosts, with configurations featuring Apple's most advanced processors and expanded memory and storage options.

The new Mac Studio is available in two configurations: the M4 Max starting at $1,999 and the M3 Ultra starting at $3,999, with shipping beginning March 12.
The M4 Max model features up to a 16-core CPU, 40-core GPU, and supports up to 128GB of RAM and 8TB of SSD storage.
The M3 Ultra model, Apple's most powerful chip to date, includes a 32-core CPU, up to 80-core GPU, and supports up to 512GB of RAM and 16TB of SSD storage.
Both models introduce Thunderbolt 5 technology, with the M3 Ultra offering six Thunderbolt 5 ports compared to four on the M4 Max.
The M3 Ultra chip utilizes Apple's Ultrafusion technology to combine two M3 Max processors, delivering up to 2.5 times the performance of the original M1 Ultra.
