Apple TV+ Unveils New Comedy 'Palm Royale' Starring Kristen Wiig

- Apple TV+ has unveiled a first look at its newest comedy, Palm Royale, starring Kristen Wiig as an ambitious social climber in Palm Beach of 1969. The series premieres March 20, 2024.
- The series is based on Juliet McDaniel’s 2018 novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie and features a star-studded cast including Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, and Carol Burnett.
- The story follows Wiig's character, Maxine Simmons, as she attempts to break into Palm Beach's exclusive high society after being dumped by her husband.
- The series is written, executive produced and showrun by Abe Sylvia. Other executive producers include Laura Dern, Jayme Lemons, Kristen Wiig, Katie O’Connell Marsh, Tate Taylor, John Norris, Sharr White, and Sheri Holman.
- Palm Royale will debut with its first three episodes on March 20, 2024, followed by new episodes released every Wednesday through May 8.
