Apple TV+ to Premiere 'The New Look', a Series on Christian Dior's Rise Amid WWII

Apple TV+ is set to premiere a new fashion drama, 'The New Look', on February 14, 2024, charting the rise of Christian Dior during the Nazi occupation of Paris.
The series will feature the stories of Dior's contemporaries and rivals, including Coco Chanel, Pierre Balmain, and Cristóbal Balenciaga, and will showcase Dior's designs in collaboration with the House of Dior.
Ben Mendelsohn will star as Christian Dior, with Juliette Binoche as Coco Chanel, Maisie Williams as Catherine Dior, and John Malkovich as Lucien Lelong.
The series will also explore the personal lives of Dior and Chanel during World War II, including Chanel's work as a Nazi intelligence operative and the arrest and internment of Dior's sister, Catherine, for her work with the French Resistance.
The show is produced by Apple Studios and DB-AK Productions, and is written, executive produced and directed by Todd A. Kessler.
