Apple TV+ Debuts Trailer for 'The Wild Ones' Conservation Series

The trailer spotlights an expedition employing drones, AI imaging, remote cameras in support of global conservation efforts to document endangered wildlife.

"The Wild Ones" title might describe both the filmmakers and the animals they stalk with good intentions.

Overview

  • Expedition leader Aldo Kane, a former Royal Marines Commando, teams up with camera trap specialist Declan Burley and cinematographer Vianet Djenguet.
  • The six-part series will take viewers to Malaysia, Mongolia, Armenia, Indonesia, Canada and Gabon in search of animals like the Malayan tiger and western lowland gorilla.
  • More than 350 custom-built remote cameras, thermal drones, AI-powered imaging tools and wearable underwater tags capture footage of elusive wildlife.
  • Episodes highlight threats facing species such as the Gobi bear, Javan rhino and North Atlantic right whale while supporting scientific research and long-term conservation.
