Apple TV+ has given a straight-to-series order for 'The Dealer,' a drama starring Jessica Chastain as an aspiring gallerist and Adam Driver as her unnerving artist.
The series is described as a biting exploration of power, class, seduction, and culture within the high-end art market.
Written by Lucas Hnath and directed by Sam Gold, the project reunites the Tony-nominated creative team behind 'A Doll's House, Part 2.'
Both Chastain and Driver will serve as executive producers, alongside a team that includes Media Res, the studio behind 'The Morning Show' and 'Pachinko.'
This marks Adam Driver's first major TV role since 'Girls' and Jessica Chastain's second Apple TV+ project following her upcoming series 'The Savant.'
