• Adaptive Power is supported on iPhone 15 Pro, all iPhone 16 models, and the iPhone 17 family, but it is only enabled automatically on the iPhone 17 lineup including iPhone Air.
• Users can enable or disable the feature in Settings → Battery → Power Mode on any supported device.
• On high‑use days it makes small adjustments such as lowering screen brightness by about 3%, limiting background activity, and it will switch to Low Power Mode at 20% battery.
• Apple says the feature runs entirely on device using Apple Intelligence and it avoids affecting performance during tasks like using the camera or playing games in Game Mode.
• With iOS 26 now rolling out publicly, Apple notes the mode takes about seven days of background learning before its effects fully kick in.
