- Doors open Friday, January 16 at 10 a.m. local time at Sainte-Catherine and Rue de la Montagne in a heritage building formerly occupied by Ardene, just down the street from the previous site.
- A large facade illustration by Montreal artist Catherine Potvin draws on the city’s culture and features Apple products, and it will remain up until the grand opening.
- Potvin will lead live iPad art demos on January 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on January 17 at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., with purchasers during those sessions receiving a gift bag featuring her artwork.
- Apple renovated the corner building over the past few years ahead of the store’s reopening.
- Apple is also offering a limited-time custom wallpaper for Mac and iPhone on the store’s webpage to mark the opening.
