  • Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 series on Tuesday, September 9, according to internal German carrier documents, with global pre-orders opening on September 12 and deliveries beginning September 19.
  • The lineup comprises four variants: the standard iPhone 17, the ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air, the high-end iPhone 17 Pro and the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max.
  • The iPhone 17 Air is said to feature a record-thin 5.5 mm titanium-aluminum frame, a 6.6-inch OLED display and 12 GB of RAM.
  • Standard and Air models are expected to run on Apple’s A19 chip, while the Pro and Pro Max will use the more powerful A19 Pro and sport a redesigned aluminum-glass rear with a larger rectangular camera island.
  • Apple is projected to keep the entry-level iPhone 17 at $799, while the Air, Pro and Pro Max are each likely to carry a $50 premium over their iPhone 16 predecessors.
