Overview
- Apple released developer beta 4 on Tuesday, Oct. 13, for iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2 Golden Gate, watchOS 27.2 and visionOS 27.2 with published build numbers available to registered developers.
- The betas continue testing a redesigned Health app that adds Insights and Longevity tabs plus a readiness/Health Age score that relies on data from Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 models.
- Siri AI is expanding beyond English with new language support reported in the 27.2 cycle for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish across platforms.
- Apple has not released tvOS 27.2 or HomePod 27.2 betas yet and is keeping iPhone Duo features on an isolated iOS 27.1 branch ahead of the Duo’s planned Oct. 23 ship date.
- Observers say beta 4 looks like a late-stage pre‑release build that could become the last test before a release candidate and a public rollout expected later this month.
