Apple Rolls Out Third Developer Betas for Six Major Platforms

  • Apple provided developers with third betas of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, tvOS 26 and visionOS 26 to continue the annual testing cycle.
  • Beta 3 refines the Liquid Glass interface by reducing transparency for better legibility, updating wallpaper colour options and tweaking Control Center, Safari and notification designs.
  • AI capabilities expand with features such as a Workout Buddy and Live Translation in watchOS, onscreen context awareness in iPadOS and improved Apple Intelligence tools across devices.
  • Platform-specific enhancements include a Mac-inspired windowing system on iPad, spatial widgets and shared experiences on Vision Pro and a revamped Apple TV app with cinematic art and streamlined profile switching.
